Guido Gressani, Born at Aosta Northern Italy, he began his Artistic career in 1967 playing in Local bands, very Active in the early Italian pop circle, in1970 after many different musical experiences, He had his first break with a group called Paradiso a Basso Prezzo. taking part in Italian festivals d'avanguardia and new tendencies ,even though the group was extremely well known, they had to wait 20 years for a so called hit record a Live album entitled "Mellow record" gaining a place in the Italian encyclopaedia of rock, In 1986 after various different musical experiences together with Musicians from Piemonti (North Italy) acquiring an interest in Fusion, a cocktail of Traditional & European e South American Jazz , he collaborated with the group called Eufonia , winning the Turin Jazz Festival in 1988 (Larry Jazz Club 1988)

In the Summer of 1993 he met Sonny Taylor, a Caribbean Pianist and together formed a quartet, collaborating with musicians from all over the globe, like Flavio Boltro,& Deirdre Cozier,

in 1997 he began writing his own material ,together with Mike Generale they wrote,& produced the album "Coccobello" featuring Flavio Boltro.

 He has recently given life to another project called the "Guido Gressani Project" the formation is as follows: Danilo Pala al sax, Valter Valerio Trumpet, Marco Gallesi electric bass, e Paolo Ricca piano & Keyboards. The quintet, directed by Guido Gressani on Drums , are actually performing all original Jazz compositions in Northern Italy's finest clubs.
