Euro Groove Department is a power-trio headed by the top class session bass player Joeri Hommerson (former bass player of names such as Jimiroquai) a Dutch musician with huge talent and virtuosity, considered one of the top bass players in Europe.During one of his Italian live appearance Joeri met the musical storm and the incredible drumming of the young prodigy Marco Maggiore.The two musicians have been joined by the sophisticated and at the same time raw, jazz-rock appeal of the unbelievable guitarist Daniele Gregolin (former guitar player on the  tour of Italian top class pop band 883).The alchemy of this mix created a band capable of musical textures that make funk, rock, jazz, fusion and solos shred live in a unique sound with a strong identity. For their first milestone and Effort, "Optical Illusion" recorded at DDE Records.

Joining them on the new album is a top name in the bass community such as Michael Manring (considered probably the greatest Bass Player of all times) and Emanuele Cisi  on sax .
