Animalunga is the title of a track composed by Aldo Mella , this cd is a meeting point for three musicians with completely different musical backgrounds, and three different starting points, and three different musical conceptions. Alberto Tafuri is coming from a commercial musical background, performing with some of Italy’s finest singer songwriters. Aldo Mella has been collaborating with some of Italy’s finest jazz players for many years now.

And Roberto Bongianino? Well he has just come out of his hiding place.And went directly to being an important part of a project already well travelled. They have found there selves happily catapulted in a musical area undefined, and most of all in that of where the composition (all originals and mostly written for the trio) might not of worked for  them.

In this way the three souls have elongated outgrowing the shadows of commonplace.
